Hardware Graphic Acceleration- this feature is supposed to increase performance of MS Outlook. It seems, in most of the cases that user get acquainted with common Outlook problems like freezing, malfunctioning, Outlook hanging problem, blurred text, cursor hangs randomly, etc. The one possible reason behind the occurrence of this issue is enabled Hardware Graphic Acceleration.
So, in such a scenario you must make sure that "Hardware Graphic Acceleration" within your office suite is turned-off. However, its certainty can be only determined by checking about its current status. In Outlook 2013 or other version, you can check it from "Option" dialog box. It should be remember that a user has to restart the Microsoft Outlook after enforcing such changes and to see whether the results are in action or not.
Experts say about "Hardware graphic acceleration" feature that this is a way to get rid of various Outlook issues like Outlook only open in safe mode, other error codes at once. With the same concern, I am going to deliberate about the methods by which you can disable the Hardware Graphic Acceleration feature in this article. Let see first in MS Outlook 2013:
The first method to "Disable Hardware Graphics Acceleration" in Outlook 2010 is similar to Outlook 2013 but the steps are quite different in Microsoft Outlook 2010.
To reach on that option in Outlook 2010: Click on "File" Tab >> "Options" >> "Mail" >> "Editor Options" (at Right Pane) >> Click on "Advanced" Button >> under display section check the "Disable Hardware Graphics Acceleration" option and click on "OK" button.
Except for most of the cases, in Microsoft Outlook 2010 and below versions mostly it seems that the options for "Graphics" (in left pane) and "DisableHardwareAcceleration" (in right pane) are not available. Therefore, in such a case, you need to create them manually.
